Anybody know where to find a roller for squishing down the dynamat??? Eastwoods is a piece of junk,
I made one with a small paint roller and large diameter dowel rod....
Also, use a heat gun on low to help the dyna mat lay out...helps a lot.

Painted the rest of the floor, prefitted the passenger seat, and started laying Dynamat on the tunnel, under the pass seat, and the toe board of the drivers side,

Need a couple longer bolts for the seats, finish the Dynamat, install the seats, start wiring up the fuel pumps,

Got a line on a 6.0 w/4L80E from a 2001 truck, iron block and heads, but complete,

Seats are prefitted, layed down more dynamat, mounted the drivers seat,

dynamat daynamat, then shifter mounts

Found out that my friend opened her Upholstery shop back up, now I can get the rear seat to match the front pattern.

nice work. I'm going to be doing some similar work in the near future. once I get the brackets for my 3-pt belts welded in, the front seats are coming out and I'm going to weld up all the holes I've drilled in the floorpan over the years and lay down some POR-15 and dynamat knock-off.

FYI, Procar sells the fabric to cover the rear seat like the fronts.

I found a set from a 98 Dodge Neon in the junkyard (pics here). frojoe designed the drop bracket (here's a post of his setup using 240sx belts). The Neon retractor bracket is straight, whereas the 240sx is bent, so I had to put the nut toward the inside of the car and will have to cut the panels to clear. He was able to weld the nut toward the outside of the car, though my setup is stronger.

I also pulled the center console from the Neon, so I'll be bolting that in shortly (like so).

I know you probably don't need it anymore, but for anyone else that needs a roller, I bought a countertop laminate roller at Lowe's and it works awesome and heavy duty. about $12. roller is about 1" diameter solid with heavy built handle.
Love the car.
