wow its been a while. its finally warm enough to work outside again. i have not touched the car since October.

had to add some bracing to my crossmeber since i had to hack some of it for my oil pan clearence. put the motor and trans back in the car. started tearing into the harness. getting rid of some things like rear o2s and evap stuff. de pinned the pcm and the fuse block.

ending up going with ls1 block huggers from speedway. the others i got from ebay were not going to work. of course with these new headers i had to modify the motor mount bracket. had to notch it just to fit, going to have to pull the bracket of the motor and gusset it.

1 step foward 2 steps back it seems like.

If you're planning to cut the engine cross member, why not mod it so you can fit a better oil pan? Like a hot rod or ctsv. I know it's really easy to do it on a 240.
