lt1 swap cluster problems

lt1 swap cluster problems I just swapped 95 Camaro Lt1 into a 95 v6 car, to get a feel for when I swap an ls7 into 77 trans am. I have had no problems other than the tach and speedo reading very high. I'm using the car factor v6 cluster. Is this a common problem in the swap?

Pulse signal from pcm is different as 6 cyl fire on 120deg intervals on crank instead of 90 deg signal like a v8. 120/90 = 1.3333... so 6666 rpm is actually 5000 rpm... etc. speedo signal is from incorrect gear ratio in pcm. May be able to find a v8 pcm donor from a car with similar gear ratio to correct this easily w/0 tune.

Yes sir they are. Iv just always in the past avoided fuel injection at all costs. One of those guys who puts a carb on everything. It was a start for me.
you're going to go from an lt1 motor swap in the car it was made for and then jump to an ls7 swap into an early camaro? the second one might be a little tricker... definitely not impossible but it's no where close to being on the same level of difficulty.
