LS1 in a mopar A-body?

I joined this website to see what people had to say or know any information that would help with swapping an LS into a 65' Plymouth Barracuda. Hemi's are a great engine if you can afford one. and I've seen Hemi's stuffed into a 65' Cuda talk about modifications. I live in Arizona so rust isn't a problem the 65' Cuda I bought is completely rust free but completely without a drive train. So why would I try to find an original 273/225HP engine and a puny 4 speed trans, and I would have to find all the accessories pully's, power steering pump, exhaust manifolds etc. would it be under $5,000 no way. Hemi under $5,000 not even close. The reason I say $5,000 is because i just bought a complete running driving 2004 GTO with a bad *** LS and 6 speed manual independent rear suspension. And I'm going every bit of that GTO that I can put into the Cuda

LS in a A-Body Mopor Come find us over on facebook, search for "LS Swapped Mopar" and it will come up. We have about 1600 people or so in that group with all different kinds of LS swaps in Mopars with a huge knowledge base for what it takes. I'm the admin over there.
