Got some racing seats for $25 a piece today. Frames were mangled all to $hit. Took them apart, reinforced the frames, put the upholstery back on and walaa! Not bad for 50 bucks

I know! Was considering Lokars 32" but I would have had to cut a hole in the roof and was ask out of cutting wheels for my grinder.
Lol.
PS: Lokar shifters are TRASH!!! Installation instructions are designed by a blind schizophrenic with the informal skills of a €uc¥ing rock!

Oh $h¡T!!!......
Just kidding. I know it's backward compared to about every levee vehicle out there. One reason is because at ride height the rear of the truck is significantly higher (like some original Rat Fink rats) in which case it is more efficient to have the sump of the cell where I have it. I do understand that one of the main reasons it is suggested to have the lines in the rear is to avoid being sprayed with gas if you were rear ended but lets face it, if I'm rear ended in this thing hard enough to break the 2x4x3/16 fish plated frame it's not gonna matter where those lines are.

under hard acceleration and with a partial load of fuel, it is possible to pull the fuel away from the outlets and starve the pump/engine. putting them in the rear avoids this and under hard braking, it's not as critical to momentarily starve for fuel. but if you never let it get below 1/3 -1/4 might not be a problem.

I am with ls68firebird & sandman, but not saying it is wrong. The fuel cell should be the other direction. The fuel cell has a built-in sump, angled area at the bottom. The way you have it mounted may cause fuel starvation under acceleration.
