If you do go external I believe summit has a sump kit that includes pump and filter for about $300.

Make the trip and go the B-body route. This is something your won't ever have to redo.

let us know when your gonna start your build thread...is this a 68 chevelle? I have a 69, been debating doin the LS route as well since i dont have a drive train yet...im trying to find out more about affordability and how do-able it is for me
