One issue with the pedals is gm changed the wire order and if you don't have the correct order, it will set codes and not allow the engine to accelerate. You can use any pedal with ls1 style, e40 and e38 pcm's IF wired correctly. The tacc must match the PCM, operating system, and file settings. The pedal simply consists of two TPS in one package.
I proved this by hooking an aftermarket (lokar) to a e38 PCM and 2008 vette file and it set codes. Verified wiring against GM schematics for 2002 through 2010 a 2010 silverado pedal and it worked. Apparently lokar billet pedal is wired for non-e38 pcm's.
Early model truck pedals have a horrible angle and will cramp up your ankle while driving unless cut/bent to change the angle. I prefer the Pontiac g6 or pedal as it is much smaller and a simple rod that can be cut and bent much easier. Smaller pad and can be had off eBay or u wrench it for around $30.

They both use the same PCM , need to know if this combo will work.
