Msd atomic ls efi system

At 1:10 totally blows off the question about heat affecting the fuel rail mounted computer.
When you look at the levels stock factory equipment is being taken to it's hard to justify aftermarket. But for apps where appearance trumps function it's a neat piece.

There have been a couple of guys who posted their results with the Fast EFI system. I don't believe I have seen anyone post their experience with that atomic unit. The guys using the fast stuff absolutely loved it, so unless they messed something up I would think the MSD stuff will work just as well.
Like said above pretty heavy buy in price. But for something like a crate motor where you are starting with zero EFI stuff then buying a crate with a carb'd intake and the MSD stuff might be more cost effective. Even with a complete JY pullout if you throw in the cost of harness work and tuning then the price evens out somewhat.

This is probably geared more towards the high end resto-mod build so the price isn't so bad when you figure in how much time it takes to run a full LS harness cleanly or hidden. I spent a ton of time on an aftermarket harness just to make it look semi-factory and it was a very well built harness. I think it's pretty innovative and I would buy it if it was maybe 1/2 the price, but I'm cheap and not building high end resto-mods.
As for heat my guess is that MSD has been making automotive electronics long enough that it wont be a problem. Heat resistant components exist, they just cost more.

They keep saying that "800 Hp" capable/max number. Isnt that totally dependent on what injectors the motor currently has ??.
That Steve M guy really gets around. I've seen him on the Barret Jackson stage, Hot rod TV, now here he is wearing an MSD shirt. He`s like the Ryan Seacrest of the auto world
