Quick Alt question.

I have searched and not found what I am needing so here it goes.....I am putting a 6.0 LS in my 70 Camaro, I am using the factory harness as a stand alone harness, My alt has 1 brown wire running to it. Do I need a resister in this wire? And as far as the positive that bolts to the back of my alternator...Do I leave that hooked to my 1970 factory harness, or do I run it directly to the battery?? Thanks guys

The brown wire should go to the indicator bulb in the dash, so you're good there. Can't help you on the rest, I'm not sure if the '70 has an external regulator or not...
