which flywheel?
which flywheel? O k I have searched this, sorry if its been over. i have a 07 LY6 and I would consider the flywheel dished. I am not sure if the crank has a spacer on it of not (I just brought the engine home last night). If my flywheel is dished, then I just buy the spacer that goes between the flywheel and converter to use with my turbo 350, right? Can someone please post a pic of their 6.0 dished flywheel? I looked at a 5.3 flywheel here at work and it seems to look just like mine. I am going to be using the 5.3 starter, but was just curious from what I have read about all these spacers, some in front and some behind, the flywheel. Looks to me if it was between crank and flywheel, it would throw of the mesh of the starter teeth????? I am using a starter from a 2010 5.3 and my donor motor is a 07 6.0. I work at the dealer, but I am just getting into all this swap stuff, so the performance aspect of these motors is new to me. Sorry if all this is old news to some of you. Thanks in advance tho
