I don’t see the $32

if the link doesn’t work go too ricks camaro type in crossmember scroll down and there is a orange 32 dollar crossmember for first gen. It’s shortening the link. the crossmember is Part #: 33-190371-1

it’s orange and yes......you probably will have to fab but I really thought it was doable.
Reason I think its doeable : 1. the way it attatches to the frame in the original subframe mounts. 2. The kit that is universal by trans dapt states it is for both a 700 and t-56, so the actual part of the mount that bolts to the tranny cannot be too different, probbaly drilling and maybe an externsion? The only fab work would be the degree of curvature on the tubes, or maybe you would just have to re-drill the frame. IDK but, I tempted to buy one and mock it and find out.
However I just spent 400 bucks on a crossmember. What is funny is the very next day I bout a welder off Craig’s list for 200 bucks, because next time I’m gonna do something like fab rather then get gouged.
