One other question. Can I back the crank pulley I have off a bit to line it up with the belts? Or would that be a disaster?? I'm gonna get a truck pulley but temporary for a few days

That would be a disaster of the first magnitude. The crank pulley/ damper is put on with around 240 ft/lbs of torque on the bolt to hold it firm against the boss of the crankshaft. It would just slip otherwise and you will have a ruined crankshaft snout. You need to read up on changing the damper out. There is more to it than I stated depending on which bolt you use to hold it on with. Factory or ARP. Bottom line just get the truck damper.

Finally got all the wiring sorted out, my Drive by wire harness did not jive with my 2000 Computer. I had to repin the whole harness from SCRATCH, but after I got it all re-installed I got this!!!

Thanks!! It took some persistence. All I can say is MAKE SURE YOUR HARNESS MATCHES YOUR COMPUTER!!! I got the harness from one place and the computer from another. Thankfully after many hours one of my friends suggested taking the harness apart and going pin by pin. That did it

Congratulations! It always gives me a sense of accomplishment when I reach this point in a build. The next big step is the first drive.

Not yet. My TH350 is locked up. Basically stuck in park even though when I move the shift lever it moves the rooster tail internally. I thought the parking prowl was stuck but it didn't fix the problem. Kind of stumped!!!
Open to suggestions

Oldgoat69, yes I just the few miles I've driven it I've been grinning ear to ear. Only issue is the alternator was not charging my battery so it died on me. Luckily I was close,to home!!

Just to follow up on this for anyone doing this swap down the road. I got a truck crank pulley/damper from a junkyard for only $30 and another $5 for the new bolt. I also installed dirty dingo water pump spacer to get the pump pulley lined up with the rest of my accessories. I was able to drive it (and beat on it hard) without the water pump spacer, but after about 40 miles it threw the belt. I put it back on and had no problem.

So you can get away with truck accessories and crank pulley and F-body water pump I guess, the belt runs just sits toward the front of the water pump pulley. For me I was just checking belt alignment after driving it a couple times, and this worked until I got the spacers in.
