Which wire for VSS / Cable-X?

Which wire for VSS / Cable-X? From what I understand the unit needs the direct output from the VSS. There's a green and purple wires coming out of it on the trans. Which wire is the signal?
I'm assuming i need the direct output and not the one from the ECU.

Nope the ecu signal is a white wire.
Here:
On the 220 plug:
E (black/white) is grounded
K (Dk Grn/Wht) [pcm red 50] is the Vss out going to the dakota converter
