Shaved door kits, anyone us them?

I recently installed an 80lb setup I bought from Ebay. My car is not wired yet but I was able to test them with a battery from a handheld drill. Works great, nice solid on/off motion. Had to weld in a pulley to operate my door mechanism....you can bolt one in instead if you need to, I just wanted everything nice and solid.
I think I paid like $70, came with an alarm too.

I find their website very annoying to follow. I especially find the repeated phrase "For more information please go over to http://www.autoloc.com" disturbing since that is where I am... Maybe they like referring to themselves in third person.
Personally, I feel their prices a bit on the high side. Not saying they don't carry good products, I've just seen less expensive places to buy much of the same merchandise.
Now if everything was stamped "Made in USA" my opinion could change, however some prices would still be too high.
I can't be negative without giving you another option... I've purchased things from Speedway Motors and they have been excellent.

The ones I used to have were slightly louder than a door lock / unlock solenoid in a 70's era car. Not obtrusive at all and would never draw attention to themselves but it is a distinct sound that you just "know" when you hear it.

I can say for certain the autoloc stuff is not as good as the cost of it's advertising, had 2 new relays from a linear actuator setup get stuck ON.
Been wondering how well the avs setups work on larger doors.
In some states it,s illegal to not have handles, technically speaking. My plan for the el camaro is to use the AEW solenoids I got AND make flush handles on the upper portion of my doors, similar to 70's corvettes, but totally flush. Should serve both purposes.
