My dingo plates are all the way forward. I was hoping to not have to cut the trans tunnel so i thought have the motor all the way forward would help with clearance.

I believe putting the motor back will make the headers fit but i was hoping i did not have to. I will change the motor position this week and retry.



Still do not like the ground clearance - i know i will have problems with it. They are about 3 inches below my floor pan. The bottom tube is completely below my subframe.

With Doug's 1/2" setback, my TH400 bolted to the same cross member I had used with my SBC. I just flipped the trans mount around. The drive shaft still needs to be lengthened though.

The Doug's headers tuck up to the floor well on my 70 Nova.
