Im waiting on a member (Michael) to text me today. I might be getting the pedal and tac off of him.
How much of a performance loss would I get. If I use the adaptor and use the truck tb compared to a 90mm edelbrock tb.
I want to thank every single one of you guys. For all the help and info you guys have given me. You guys have opened up my eyes. To a bunch of stuff I didn't even know anything about. So thank you.

GM would not have gone from the 75 to 90mm TB if it wasn't needed. If you're going to run the L92 heads and LS3 intake, there's a pretty good chance the TB is going to be the restriction depending on the cam you use.
3 to 4 bolt adapter is around $70, 4 both cable TBs can be found on ebay as low as $150. Price out a custom harness/ecu for cable vs the harness/mdifications/pedal/tac.
Also, check into the what injectors you'll need with the LS3 intake and any possible compatibility issues with the 04 harness.

Just my luck. The the dbw parts were sold.
Like I said a couple posts ago. I'm going to try to do the wiring harness myself to run dbc. Is their anything special I need to do to connect for the ls3 injectors and all other ls3 sensors?

If you are going to use the Silverado TAC Module and Pedal it will NOT work with the LS3 Throttle Body. If you were going to use a silverado throttle body, then yes, those components would work with it.

The more I read this, the more it's moving from a project to an experiment.
You've got a 6.0 with intake, heads, and probably a cam (without the cam, heads are not worth changine) capable of nearly 500hp and you're choking that down with a small TB. Btw, you'll probably lose some bottom end with the cam, so it's a lose/lose if yoou go in that direction.
With "experiments", what may seem the cheap route tends to cost more because of add ons and discovering stuff doesnt work, then buying twice.
My suggestion, go with an aftermarket 4 bolt TB, about $150 on ebay. Find a vendor that can make a harness/ecu that will work with your combination. You can spend an extra $100 in injector pigtails alone if you buy a stock harness. Add to that any additional programming you might run into. PSI seems to have good prices on harnesses, see what it will cost for a programmed 411 ecu and harness set up for your 24x reluctor, cable TB, injectors type, cam specs, transmission, etc. They'll probably ask questions that you have not even thought of addressing.

Another thing to think about is what trans you're going to use, if it has a TV cable it's going to be tricky to hook that up to the dbw pedal. I used a 4L60e trans because of this and ditched my 700R4.

The last thing I want to do is experiment and buy things twice. That's why I decided to go with a 90mm edelbrock dbw tb. So will the silverado tac module work with that tb? But I am going to experiment with doing the harness my self. I already have a stock harness. So if I screw it up. I'm not really losing anything. And then I'll just go to psi.
Do you guys have experience with a good after market 90mm dbw off eBay?

Got a link? I've never seen an edelbrock dbw tb, only cable.

Your right. I was mistaken. The one I seen is dbc. Do they make a good aftermarket 90mm dbw tb?

Dont think anyone makes an aftermarket dbw tb, the 4 bolt GM ones work fine. They just dont work with your current ecu.
You're back to:
04 ecu + reprogramming, harness, pedal, tac, $70 adapter, truck 3 bolt dbw tb, $100 in injector pigtails, and weak performing 6.0
05-06 24x LS2 ecu, harness, with dbw 4 bolt tb
411 ecu (get it programmed for your cable tb and LS3 injectors), custom harness, $150 cable 4 bolt tb.

Dam. (Shaking my head) this motor is making my head spin. I'm just going to bite the bullet and just go with psi and get everything for dbc. And be done with it.

Besides the edelbrock dbc tb. Is their any other good 90mm dbc tb
