LS1 swap Challenger?
I saw this on another forum a while back. It was a purple challenger and the guy did a pretty good job too. Cant remember the forum though, i think it was yellow bullet.

My brother has a low mile 72 Dart that's awesome in every way except the crappy 318. I would love to do an LSX/4L60E swap, but them again I want to swap an LS in everything. It's just hard to get excited about the old leaky slow junk from the 60's after going with LS power.
i think its a great idea doing the swap . Its your car. These old engines need a good amount of money to do what the ls1 does stock and they weigh a ton more. do the ls

I"ve done some basic investigation on a LS swap into a Dart. Seems like the k member is a problem with oil pan clearance. Take a look at Abody's only forum. Some people like it. Some people hate it.

OP, Go for it! It will be awesome.
If you look at it as "an engine" and not "a chevy engine", there's no reason not to go with it. It's a great motor, plenty of aftermarket support, plenty of knowledge, and it's lightweight compared to most motors.
