Anyone use this Alt/PS bracket?

I have a 1971 camaro with a 5.3 using fbody accessories, I just got a vintage air kit with the sanden pump and ls1 bracket for the passenger side

I'm using the stock LS1 fbody brackets on the passenger side and it puts the alternator close to the pitman arm, I have good clearance but I thought for this price I might as well move it up if I can.

Anyone using this in a 1970-1981 Fbody? I'm curious about hood and fender well clearances

Kinda long span from the alt to the crank pulley and not much wrap on the alternator. Idler pulley would help both.

You say you have good clearance so why spend money on something you dont need? Id keep it low if possible.

Here is a pic of mine with the corvette front drive. I'm guessing your alternator position would be too close to the driver side upper control arm.

I was told that the alternator will interfere with the upper control arm with that mount.
Just wondering if you know what, if any changes, have to be made to the harness when switching to the f-body alternator from the truck one?
