I bought a 2000 ls1 engine out of a camaro. It has 853 heads. 4l60e trans.
I have zero plans to race or drag. " I have a 500hp jet ski" that's what I drag race.
The drop out is going in my 72 c10

Here is what I want.
Super lopey idle
400 rw hp
This will be my cruiser. Not daily driver.
As you guys are the professionals what would you do.
The engine is on a stand so I have no prob taring down the engine to better it.
There is a hundred different ways to go and I'm all confused.
I am super new to the Ls platform.
