Bagged 59 GMC build thread Been a while since I have posted a build thread, I should try and catch up on about 10 of them sometime soon. Here is one:
This was my 59 GMC stepside. Here are some details and pics... enjoy!
'04 4.8 Engine w/ 80k miles
'00 4l60e Overdrive w/ 75k miles
Yates EFI Engine management harness
10 bolt rearend with custom 4 link setup
All new balljoints/ bushings/ tierods/ sleeves in front suspension
2" drop spindles
All new brakes front and rear from master cylinder (manual) and lines
Airlift Dominator 2600 airbags all around
8- SMC 3/8 Valves
Bent hard lines for most of airbag setup
Air system on remote control for up/ down, 2 switches inside for front and rear
Stainless tilt steering column
New windshield
1958 Impala front bumper - 39 Ford tail lights
Painted steel wheels with chrome caps and radial whitewall Coker tires
Aeromotive Stainless 15 gallon fuel cell with in-tank style pump - 6an braided nylon fuel lines

Sweet build! After I get my drag car built I have this 59 GMC fleet option truck that's getting a 5.3 and 4l60e. I bought a complete 03 gmc cargo van and I'm going to try to use as much of it as possible to keeps costs down. Love your truck!! Everyone that see's mine thinks the grill and headlights are homemade
