new build 95 s10
new build 95 s10 so i have begun to tear down my 95 s10 due to piston failure in my last motor so i thought i would make a build thread for everyone. something got into my motor, hit the pistons, and caused detonation that ate a hole in 2 of my cylinders so i figured go bigger or dont do it at all! lol
old build:
ls1
torquer v2 cam
forged rods/pistons
ls6 oil pump
ls7 lifters
243 heads with prc dual springs
FAST LSXRT 102/102
shorty conversion headers
built 4l60e with edge pro street 3200 stall
9in with eaton worm gear locker, 3.70 gears
76mm bb sts universal kit on 10 lbs
new build:
lq4
reusing forged rods, getting new dish pistons .030 over
new turbo cam
AFR 225 72cc heads, reusing prc springs
same headers, intake, tb
powerglide with 3800 edge stall
same locker going to a 3.40 gear
same turbo kit on 19 lbs
weight reduction and modifying tunnel for more space
