Looks like he did a mini c notch on the frame probably one of the bolt in cutout deals I've never seen one break from doing it but most ppl weld an extra piece of small sq Tube on top of the frame to give it extra support

This project picked bavk up guys. I forgot to update the thread though. Engine is gonna ve ready to drop in tomorrow after I weld in my Kmember notch. I have to get a more uptodate pic . As of now, frame is painted. New tubular A arms on. Motor mounts in, AC deletr box in, firewall painted. New brakes, rotors and calipers qlong with my 2"drop spindles. Did all this in 1 day. Im not Fin around thus time.

Looks great Ron! Ill be doing a 02 xtreme blazer over the winter. Did you have any problems with the 4l80e as far as fit issues? Anything you had to change?
