It will work fine, but first it has to be reflashed with an F-body VIN to turn on the correct throttle control and VATS functionality.

You have to get the signal to the PCM so it knows how much to move the throttle. I'm not sure exactly how the Vette sends the signal from the gas pedal to the computer. That would have to be taken into account too.

Flashing the PCM as an F-body takes care of all of the issues in one shot.
