has any put a LS3 in a pontiac solstice? think that would be a impressive autoX car?

Theres a company who puts LS7s in them. Youtube has some videos.

Mallet used to do these and even had a custom bell housing made to use the stock trans.

It would certainly be a fun auto-X car but it would likely get stomped on in XP.

They are sweet looking cars though. An LS powered, hardtop Solstice would be sick...
