Here is my set-up that I am starting with...not custom but super simple.
It is a 1988 IROC 5 speed console....a little trimming to fit but looks stock
Going in my 69 Nova with a T56

Nicely done. I never would've been able to recognize it being out of a Camaro. Looks like it belongs.
