Which wire on coil should be used for tach signal?

I did have a voicemail from Speedhut saying that my ECM should work with the tach now, but that I would need to change to a 5-10k ohm resister and set the tach to 2 pulses per rev. I may try that out in the future cuz I'm curious, but still have hotter issues to fry.
EDIT 6-8-13. Tried a 10k resister and nothing happened. I've given up on the ECM route since I have a viable tach signal off the coil.

Hmmmm, that is interesting. I am running a 1K ohm resistor. It would be easy enough to go to a 5 to 10K ohm if need be. If mine does not work with the 1k I will try the high resistors.
