It really is simple. I'm not trying to take from anyone but for those that want to do the hands-on well the info is there.

I got my harness from bill yesterday It looks amazing
I was going to modify my harness myself at first but I decided to have bill do it I am glad that I did I sent him and harness that was a mass it looks a hundred and ten percent better than when I sent it to him he had to replace serval wires and the harness and several plugs that were broken
The way I looked at it is he saved me a lot of headache I would highly recommend sending it to BP automotive

The question is how many wires Are cut and but splice connected or soldered do you have in your harness

However he did it is how he did it, I use Solder and Splices where I need them..if you do it the right way it works fine. Seal it with Heat Shrink and it's good to go.

I've never had issues out of my Harnesses that I have installed into cars.

If you really want to get technical just think about how a connector works when the pins plug into each other.

Op you can do it yourself (if you really want to) it can be simple for some, may even be the simplest thing you have ever done or...a pain in the azz from which only nuking the car will bring you back...lol. If you find it daunting, toss the dollars to a worthy sponsor and have one less thing to worry about. Only you know what you are truly comfortable with, no matter how easy someone says it is.

when i did my harness i actually used new wires for the ones that need to be extended. repinning a harness is very simple. i didnt want soldered joints or heat shrink tubing everywhere and i wanted to custom route my harness. my harness is really clean and NEATLY arranged, using factory connectors! best of all I have the satisfaction of knowing every inch of my harness is perfectly how I wanted it!

I had Bill rebuild my harness because a new B-body harness can't be built due to the firewall junction block is no longer available. The I watched him completely rebuild my neighbors f-body harness. By the time he was done, it looked better than an OEM. And I had my share of f bodies too.
Even compared to a new OEM harness we had to get (at the dealer I work for) for a customers 2009 Cad. XLR that a mouse had chewed into. Bill's new & stand-alones looked better.

Sure some guys have the know how to do it but some don't. Why chance it. I do know how to do it, but why when someone has all the correct tools, wire, terminals, etc to do it right. My $5 crimper vs the correct $400 tool.

Peace of mind has no price.

Just in case anyone else runs across this, our charge for this service is $350. This includes removal of non used items if the customer chooses. This is for rewiring a factory LS1 F-Body harness.

We can build the same harness from scratch for $750.
