V12 LS1 Build

Even though the crank can have pulses at 60 degrees there will not be a cylinder for every 60 degs. You cannot get away from combinations of 30, 60 and 120 degrees however much you want to. Or as said three posts above some doubling at 90 degree intervals. With a custom crank you can spread the double / single pulses bettrr but it will still be rough. In a 60 deg V12 many people do not know if they run on 11 cylinders only but go down to ten and it gets rough quite apart from loosing power. In a 90 deg block with several 30, 60 and 120 deg intervals it will be rough. It will be anybody's guess how high you can rev it and for how long before it eventually self destroys

I sure as hell hope not. There are a lot of people who are going to be very very upset.
I seriously doubt this is a hoax. Way too much effort into this...and to what end? I think it's legit. Be nice to hear from them again though.

Here's another update.
The bolts and spigot setup we are using for the crank. Only thing we have left for the crank is to counter bore the back so the head of the bolts don't stick up. Hopefully we'll have that done within the next week or so and then into the balancer. I'll post more pictures when it happens.
Got the camshaft back from the shop. Reground to a mild grind, about 215 at 50. It is ready to go.
Everytime I post an update, I check the thread for the next 3 or so days. Usually there are little to no responses in that time, so I just forget to check back. For those doubting the authenticity, I have already posted a walk around video. When we get it running, I'll be sure to post a video of that. Until then, I can post additional pictures or another walk around video if I really need to.
We are considering selling/producing a couple v12s to pay some bills and fund other projects. We'd be open to sell this one we're working on now, or devoting more of our time and building one to whatever specs/desires one would want. If you'd be seriously interested, send me a private message on here with some contact information.
