'48 Diamond T/LQ4, FIXED!!!
After almost a month of fussing, checking, finding things that needed to be fixed, and it still running poorly, AND crashing it in the garage thanks to a faulty Lokar nuetral safety switch, I gave up and took the truck in to my buddy's shop and had them fix it. Turns out, after replacing the MAF sensor, left hand 02 sensor, re-routing the MAF sensor wiring away from the coils, fixing a vacuum leak at the EGR port, it turned out to be that the right hand O2 sensor was bad too. Even though I got no 02 code, that's all it finally was.
So, it's DONE! It's like driving a Corvette, that's capable of pulling house down. It's absolutely fanstastic to drive, everything I expected it would be. I'm so happy with it, you couldn't get the grin off my face with sandpaper. \
Big trip this weekend pulling one of the vintage trailers, so I JUST squeaked in under the wire. Lots of little details to get done tomorrow, finishing up the crash repair, install the new front bumper and finesse the bumper brackets, and so on, but we're going to make it!
