Default Mass Air placement

Was wondering if it matters where you place the mass air sensor. I have mine set up by the cone filter on the other side (outside) of the radiator core support.

I wasn't sure how close it needed to be to the throttle body or if it even mattered. It's on a L76 G8 swap in my 240Z, I can move it closer if need be it just is an easier fit where it's at.

Thanks
Mike

I may be wrong, and if I am, I'm sure the other members here will correct me....but I believe you just need a minimum of 10" of straight tubing between the TB and MAS. Other than that, I think you're ok

It doesn't matter unless you have forced induction
