Default Can HP tuners change needed vss input signal?

I'm running a 4x4 4l80, and between my front axle and needing the VSS output, the only factory t-case I can use was made for 2 years... Can't find one yet.

So, I've been looking into inline VSS generators, to go in between my case, and mech speedo cable.

However, I can only find 8K pulse generators, where as the Lsx platform requires 4k correct?

Can when I have it tuned, the input speed signal be modified from 4K to 8K?

You can use HPT to change the # of pulses per rev and also the # of pulses per mile. Its listed under the speedometer tab.
