engine slow to rev

engine slow to rev 4.8 swapped into a obs truck. (5speed)
Noticed that the engine doesnt rev up as quickly as any other vehicle I own.
Jumped in a 5.3 tahoe and with just a small tap of the gas peddel, boom 4 grand.
Same with the dump truck, corrolla, older tahoe with the 5.7 and the camry.
My truck takes forever.
I am hoping or shoting in the dark and saying that its my computer tune.
Just wanted to make sure there wasnt any other obvious things I should look for before I good ahead and get a tune made.
I can post up a video for comparison some time soon.

Is this is a drive by wire or drive by cable throttle body application?
