Default LS1 / T56 280Z on the dyno

I was very happy with how the car performed.

Specs:

Stock 2001 LS1 bottom end
62CC AFR 205's
Vengeance VRX4 Cam - 228/230 .588/.592 on a 112 LSA
FAST 90 Intake
Nick Williams 90mm TB
Nitrous Express Plate
Custom 1.75" long tubes, true dual 3" with x pipe, out the back with magnaflow bullets

Built T56

Custom Ford 8.8 IRS swap

Baseline of 431 /412
ended up 442 / 420

on 150 jets it made 576 / 616

Its pretty violent when it hits... almost scary lol.

All of the motor pulls

Nitrous pulls - 150 jets (62N / 34F)

Sweet ! Nearly identical to the '05 gto I dyno'd last fall.

Wide open throttle fuel ratio 13:1 ?

It was a 5.3 for about the first 1500 miles. Then I swapped it out.

Did you notice a huge difference with the extra weight taken off and such? I have a 5.3 block and 799 heads, 228R cam, LS6 intake, and it will have the normal headers and such. Weight savings and the extra cubes worth it?

I tried finding an idle vid w/ your cam w/ no luck. Do you have one?

Fantastic numbers in a better car. Pretty jealous man, love it.

I already had this engine put together from my last car, so it was a no brainer. I'm not sure if it would be worth the extra money to buy one out right.

Thanks! Here's a video a friend of mine put together last spring right after I got it on the street. It doesn't quite calm down and chop here, but you kinda get the idea.

That thing rips. Awesome car. How much does it weigh? Go easy on that shifter though.

Last ride I had in that thing was much more violent than the short video shown above. Soooo.... It was just about right for HP.

If you wouldn't mind asking, buying the whole set up for the ls1 kit, harness, headers, heads and intake. How much was it? And would it be a ton cheaper to just get a stock ls1 and some heads and a cam set up instead of a whole set of performance parts. For a kinda small budget build what the best decision?
