Got it all back together and put some miles on it. 7500rpm and 20ish lbs of boost makes for a wild ride. Had to back the boost down as im blowing through the conveter and instantly pegging the limiter.. Once the bugs are worked out it should be a good time. Burnt 10 gallons of E85 after about a 15-20 mile tuning drive.. ouch

It must be quieter outside than in the cab then cause I think I went deaf after just that short drive.. I put 3" exhaust on it with Dynomax bullet mufflers today and its quieter but I hate how it sounds now looks like another set of mufflers for the shed.

What are the details on the rotating assembly? Im guessing you used a 4.8 crank in a larger bore motor. Are you still using the stock rods? Cool truck man it really looks and sounds bad ***. I really like the idea of a short stroke, high rpm turbo motor.

Very very cool truck! Like everyone, I dig the mint. I am also curious about the engine specs as I would love to do a big bore/short stroke turbo motor.

#1 Lunati rods and JE pistons will get you there if you deck the block.
They have a few different rod lengths and compression heights to make it work.
Cheapest way is bore a 4.8-5.3 block to 3.905
Run GenIV 4.8 rods with Manley Pistons #592007C-8.. Mahle makes a set that works too.
Run a stock 4.8 crank and have everything balanced and use the proper thickness of head gasket depending on your deck height.
