Default 5.3 in 58 f100 front acc help

I'm putting a 5.3 in my 58 f100 and need some ideas and to see who's done the same....the motor is a freshly rebuilt 5.3 with ls9 headgaskets,z06 cam,and valve springs..other than that it's stock...I'm will be running a ls1 intake but its hitting the truck alternator bracket....I want to run water pump with tensioner, crank, alternator in stock position, and power steering in stock place as well...can I cut the idler pully off and trim the stock alternator bracket so the ls1 intake will fit?? Lmk what you think ls1tech thanks

You can cut the Alt bracket, it's what I did. I bought an f-body water pump and water pump spacers then cut the tensioner pully to work with the new pump. I also relocated the idler pully in between the ps pump and alt. I need to cut about another 1/2" away from my throttle body though. Hope that helps.

Why'd you goto fbody water pump..I want to just cut alternater bracket so the intake can sit flush.them delete the idler pully but add the power steering pump...it should still work without the idler as long as you have the tensioner
