What's the difference in the LS1/6 throttle bodies? I have one that has no hole in the throttle blade, yet the LS1 TB's do....both are cable operated.?
What are you trying to accomplish? Does it run right without the hole? If so, I would leave it alone, the IAC should compensate for a tiny hole. Are you sure of what they're off of? To the best of my knowledge, there's no cable operated LS6 throttle body.Got any pics?

Bought it off ebay from Potz, that does all the throttle bodies. He stated it was off an LS6. Never seen one without the hole, but if I don't need the hole, I am going to leave it as is. Never noticed this before, was just wondering why GM chose to do some and not others? Not running yet, so don't know if it will idle right or what.
I have noticed the FAST, BBK and others don't have the hole either, just wondering why?
Link to the one I bought below...first picture, with no hole, although the other pictures show a hole.
