Default 67 Camaro LS3 radiator hose fitment help

Hi, I know a some of you have been through this already so I thought I would ask and maybe save myself a lot of time. I have a 67 Camaro that I have installed a LS3 both coolant inlet and outlet are on the passenger side. I purchased an Afco direct fit radiator and the inlet and outlet are on the passenger side, its similar to a Griffin Radiator. I was wondering if someone may have a similar set up and maybe have part numbers for the upper and lower hose that would fit. I thought I would give this a try and save a lot of trial and error Thanks.

I take it you are running the LS3 water pump and throttle body and the radiator inlet and outlets are on the passenger side as in a dual bypass radiator?

Wow, i just surprised myself with being able to find the tags so quick. Anyway, they are both Dayco hoses. #71636 and 71990

Hope this helps.

I have close to the same setup. LS3 clone(L92 base) into a 1965 Buick Skylark with the dual pass radiator. With the LS3 water pump I will have to come back under the cold air intake and up to the radiator inlet. Did you do the same thing? If so any problems. Also I see the Dayco 71636 is 1 5/16" in diameter. I assume it went on without any problems as I think 1 1/4" is the nominal size for the water pump and radiator hose fittings?

So yes that helps big time. I just bought the "Jags That Run" radiator hose splices in 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" in case if have to do any finagling of the hoses to make them fit.

I should have mentioned earlier, that mine is a LS2. I assumed the pump inlet and outlet are in the same location. The hoses fit all the fittings great. I need to find out what these fit to put in my notebook for future references.

To answer your routing question, i'm going to need a pic or i'm going to have to find one of the LS3 pump. I may have told you guys something wrong, if the pumps are different. If so, sorry. Looks like you must have the pump with the upper hose on the driverside. Mine is on the passenger.

Yes the LS3 water pump is on the drivers side. The lower one should be the same though.

I couldn't find any oem ones that worked so I used the universal kit from Summit in my 67 A body.

The lower hose i posted will work for you i bet. The top won't, i used the GTO pump with the forward facing fitting.

You have the type of water pump that came on my L92. When I changed to the LS3 intake and throttle body I had to go to the LS3 water pump. The outlet is on the drivers side of the throttle body facing forward. I have not seen a universal hose in 1 1/4" diameter that would be long enough.

That is why I bought the radiator hose splice pieces in case I have to use two hoses to make it work.
