T-56 Park Neutral Wire?
T-56 Park Neutral Wire? I can't seem to figure this out, does an ls1 equipped with a t56 have a "park neutral" wire? If so, what does it do? I'm curious because my Psi Conversion harness for a t-56 ls1 has an orange "park neutral" wire. It also has a purple "brake signal/tcc ground". Not sure what to do with either wire. Thanks in advance
I have the Starter Relay ground on the Clutch Swith..that is my N/S Switch.
The factory wiring for this is the 12v Start from the Column thru that switch to the Relay, The Ground on the Relay is the Theft Deterrent Module..when it reads the right key it allows it to start.

Have you ever seen a car go through the garage and end up in a kitchen, because the transmission was in gear and somebody hit the key and the car started while in gear? There is a reason there is a Safety Neutral Switch on clutch pedals.

I have.. but it was never one of my cars or doing.. .. I make it a habit of 1) stepping on the Clutch.. before starting..or 2) Checking to be in Neutral. Been doing that for +43 years.. hasn't given me any problems so far.. but maybe some day when my old age catches up with me I'll have to install one..

The CPP to the PCM (small gauge) is optional for T56. The original purpose was to bump min idle speed when stopped, partly to reduce engine revving to start moving again and partly to keep idle speed friendly under load from the AC compressor
The starter safety switch (heavy gauge) interrupts the starter voltage unless the clutch is depressed. Automatics have this as well in the trans range switch forcing the shifter to be in P or neutral for the starter to be engaged
