Default S10 ls1 swap

Knee high deep in wires. I'm in the middle of my ls1 swap in my sonoma and needed some help.

1- what did you guys tie the ect from the ls1 PCM to get ect gauge to work. Can't seem to find that wire on any of my pin outs.

2- what did you guys tie the orange and black neutral safety switch in to from ls1 PCM or should I ground it to bypass it.

Any info would be great. Got allot done today and most of the harness almost done. Thanks for the help

What is an ect gauge? What year s10 do you have? This was my first time ever doing a harnese and it worked great. Everything pertaining to gauges is wired in through the s10s C101 connector

Engine coolant temp. For my temp gauge. . I have a 2000 sonoma 2.2 4l60e

I have a harness out of a 2000 camaro.

Is the c101 located by the heater box passenger side. I tied my tach speedo oil pressure into that one. PCM power and fuel pump relay and other wires went to fuse block under hood. When I pinned out my 2.2 computer never had a neutral safety and out put for temp gauge. And the ls1 has both. Maybe I'm just overlooking something stupid.

I was just checking out your build Ron. You did a heck of a job. Very nice work. I hope mine turns out that. Good. Thanks for the help

Can someone please tell me how to wire up my coolant temp gauge in my 2000 sonoma. I have an harness from a 2000 camaro and have a pinout for temp gauge but can't figure out where it wires to truck.

What should I do with my evap line.

Last is the sonoma neutral safety switch for 4l60e a power wire for the starter relay.

Sorry I got mixed up. There's no wire on the ls1 computer dedicated to the coolant temp gauge. Don't k ow what I was thinking.

I know the s10 communicates through class 2 data wire. But what wire from my ls1 harness connects to the truck to make fuel gauge and engine temp gauge work.

I hook up the class 2 from ls1 to class 2 to the sonoma for obd2. What am I missing.

Please help

Ok. I'm almost done. Last question. What can I tie my abs vss into. I see it uses a different signal than cruise and gauge. Is there a pin I can add to the f body harness that will work that.

Hey there bill. How does the neutral safety switch from c2 connector on the s10 work. Does it ground or is it tied to starter relay feed.

Most of them are 12v through the switch.

Auto? Install a relay across the 12v wires and use the switch on the Shifter as the ground.

What does TYPE III FUSE OUTPUT(4.3) mean from connector c2. It's a pink ING wire.

Never heared of that before. Tried searching. I guess it may be a dumb question. Any one got an answer

You told me cavity E8 yesterday? Is this the cavity you are looking for? Alldata is down right now, but let me know and when its back up I can tell you. My email is also being extremely slow. Maybe because of the storms last night.
