I could use the full lengths once you take them off. How much do you want for them?

Took a couple vids today, Jesus this thing is fast. Need to get the o2's hooked up so I can tune it in. And figure out that front end shake, **** makes me nervous. Speedo is accurate btw tach reads 3-400 high at 6500, the in car is about 138mph. when I go by in the outside view that's 6500 in 4th, with 3.73's, or about 145mph

Change the rear mufflers out for magnaflow 4" case round ones

It's marginally quieter, definitely made a difference but not as much as I had hoped

went to a local meet last night, was allot of fun but in normal fashion no one gave a ****. I had a blast though gave a couple friends rides. Couple things:
1. Got my wideband installed and tuned the car in on the way there.
2. It ran for 1 hour and 50 minutes straight, 15minutes idling waiting for a train, drove 140 miles overall. Not one single problem.
3. Also coming home at midnight I realized this thing cruises at 90-110 like you are going 55.
4. BTW, even with the large amount of beating on it, I still got 21mpg LOL
5. injectors are 35#@58psi and they are at 115% at 6500. That equates to around 630 crank hp which is where it should be
6. The 235 BFG drag radials at 14# hook pretty damn good. Solid in 2nd gear and decently in 1st
Overall I am so happy with this car, its fast as hell, goes down the road smooth as could be, handles well even with no swaybars, AND gets good gas mileage! The trans definitely needs some work though

I had a SBC swapped FB, it was my first engine swap and know the feeling. I know I never went anywhere near 140mph and never really raced it.

I'd only go to Rx7 meet ups around here so there was a lot of interest in the swap then. I eventually sold the engine/tranny and dropped in a sr20det (nissan turbo 4 banger) because the sbc/t5 set up was pretty awful, but it was damned fast. I really wish I had of dropped in a LS engine and t56, I'd likely still have the car.

So, track was good, but had its share of problems

Blew out a rear shock on the first pass, therefore could not get a decent 60'.

First pass I launched moderately to judge prep, it was soso and hot as ****. Let off at the 330' or so
1.67. 60'
4.70 330'

2nd pass, launched hard, too hard with the blown shock, spun, lifted, hooked and went. Shifted 2nd at 6500, 3rd at 7500. With the 28" tire the 3.73 gears are way to much, cross the traps at 7500 in 3rd gear.

1.81
4.91
7.40@98.5
9.48
11.32@126.8

3rd pass guy kept me On the clutch forever and got hot, couldn't shift 2nd or 3rd. 1.75 60' spinning 5' out and let off

4th pass

Dropped slicks to 14# hot. Dropped it HARD as ****, Spun but stayed in it and hooked. Shift at 7500 and 19* timing

1.91
4.95
7.41@99.8
9.45
11.27@128

Felt odd on the return road, did a small launch and something was bad. Pulled the slicks and the upper control arm mounts on the axle were FUCKED, bent to **** and it ripped one clean off. Put the radials on and limped it home 40 miles

Anyway overall I was pretty happy with it,runs great just need to make new mounts. Car is a blast for real, there are vids just need to find them. The 5-6 shift fork is much worse now, hard to get I to either gear. I need to get a 26 or 27" tire and 4.30 gears, the guys said they could hear it bog and come on the cam late.

God what a blast these cars are, lots of props for sure!

this is the 3rd pass, still ran 13.44@76 coasting

ordered all the rear suspension stuff, upper and lower control arms, rod ends, adjustable link and rod ends for the watts. $350 shipped. If it all works out good I will post up all the part #'s to do the same thing for others to use.

Going to pick up the steel for the brackets tomorrow and start cutting

God, 350 bucks do do the entire rear suspension, I spent that on just a tq arm for my F-body, I LOVE SWAPPED RX7'S!!!!

Video!!

This is the first pass, 1.67 60'. I let off way before the 330' marker even so that should have been a 4.65 330 foot time, 3 tenths faster than my fastest pass of the day

2nd pass is the same as in the video posted before
