The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
think im dropping it off tomorrow to get the exhaust put on.
And just FYI, the cops MUST tell you if someone called in to them if you stop them and ask them why they are miraculously always in your neighborhood when your car is sitting in your driveway running. They don't have to tell you WHO, just if someone did or has been.
Better yet, hide a switch inside that will shut off the fuel pump so it wont run without the switch being flipped.
and yes theres a kill switch on it.
thinking about driving it to work so i can fab up a battery box. work is a block away from my shop and my exhaust shop is right next door to my work. lol
oh cars on ebay right now
what is the item number for it?
You put them ugly *** wheels back it!?!?! LOL

dunno if ill do the exhaust shop though.
dunno if i should have done auction style.
hopefully the price is alright. i have no idea what swap stuff sales for anymore. prices are like all over the place.
**** when i did my first LS swap i had 1 intake given to me and bought one for $20 complete, now they got for $100 for a bare intake.
Just a couple of things to mention, you should upsell that it has only had 3 owners, and the Autocheck score is ranked so high for the vehicle, 34/37 for a 25 year old car.
Also, list it up on here in the classifieds section also. Selling it through here will save you a raping on the final value fees through ebay.
I wish you the best of luck with the sale, but at the same time wish you would keep it and keep working on it. After all, it is not eating anything. Slide it under a cover or in the garage for a few weeks and go from there.
You said you can't save money right? got a tip for you that worked well with me and my now ex-wife. Every time you get paid, write a check for cash for a MINIMUM of 10%and put it in a bank safe deposit box. Do it every week for 10-12 weeks WITHOUT FAIL!! Just like you are paying a bill.. At then end of your 13th week, when you go in to write that check, get all your checks and cash them. Then either put the cash back in the safe deposit box or go buy a vehicle with it. there is your budget! NO MORE!!
If I was to do it again, I would write them for $100 a week VERY FIRST THING... 12 weeks later I have $1200 to go buy a cheap car to putter around town in. Or got the auction that is 33 miles away on Friday night and get a steal of a deal on a couple cars. I have seen perfectly good running cars that were big and ugly go for $100.. Imagine the fleet you could have for Dad and Bro to steal then!!
talked to my exhaust guy and said to weld in 2 mufflers and dump it he wants $100, i thought in my head ***** that. told my boss and he said well try and do it after work soon.
if the car doesnt sell on ebay or craigslist i think im just goin to throw one of my truck manifolds on or get a ls1 manifold so i dont have to re-wire the injectors.
1470 page views and 27 watchers on my ebay listing. no offers yet. might drop the price again.
got some dumb offers on craigslist though.
