Yeah i'm kinda in there same boat. Just wasn't something reliable. My S10 has been pretty good but it drinks gas and my dad and bro always take it without asking and leave me with no car sometimes. Plus I've owned somewhere around 35 or so cars and out of all those maybe 2 had a working a/c so i'm kinda looking for something that has it all. I'll do another project maybe down the road.

Oh yeah was taking pics and like usual the cops rolled by, looked over and have me a nod. I fired it up to take a video and revved it a little but and they drive by me. So I think I'd get hassled with just even pulling it out of my driveway anytime. Lol

sounds to me like one of your neighbors doesn't like you or is jealous or mad about your build, and subsequently the city wants to own your car.

Bro dropping this project at this point would be like dropping out of high school in the 12 grade. A ton of work and time put in and walking away near the finish line. Its a really cool project, stick with it if you can.

If you are going to drive it, be sure to give her a good thrill and rev it good and hard on the way out of the neighborhood.

And just FYI, the cops MUST tell you if someone called in to them if you stop them and ask them why they are miraculously always in your neighborhood when your car is sitting in your driveway running. They don't have to tell you WHO, just if someone did or has been.

And if it were me, I would, ONLY FOR THE TIME BEING, go ahead and pull the supercharger setup, tune the car for natural aspiration, and drive it with the hood on and road legal. Make sure to KEEP YOUR KEYS HIDDEN, so that dad and bro cant take this ride whenever they get a bug up their ***.

Better yet, hide a switch inside that will shut off the fuel pump so it wont run without the switch being flipped.

If it is on ebay now, stop adding money to it. Slide it under a cover and leave it til you know it is sold, then tell the buyer where to take it so he can roll out of town with it, and let HIM/HER get the disturbing the peace tickets.

what is the item number for it?

i got to take it to my shop so i can make a battery hold down (its just sliding around in the trunk) - free

dunno if ill do the exhaust shop though.

dunno if i should have done auction style.

hopefully the price is alright. i have no idea what swap stuff sales for anymore. prices are like all over the place.

**** when i did my first LS swap i had 1 intake given to me and bought one for $20 complete, now they got for $100 for a bare intake.

I hear ya on the swap stuff. Some of these boys have gone bonkers!! Like Holley charging $400 for a swap pan, JUST THE PAN!!

Just a couple of things to mention, you should upsell that it has only had 3 owners, and the Autocheck score is ranked so high for the vehicle, 34/37 for a 25 year old car.

Also, list it up on here in the classifieds section also. Selling it through here will save you a raping on the final value fees through ebay.

I wish you the best of luck with the sale, but at the same time wish you would keep it and keep working on it. After all, it is not eating anything. Slide it under a cover or in the garage for a few weeks and go from there.

You said you can't save money right? got a tip for you that worked well with me and my now ex-wife. Every time you get paid, write a check for cash for a MINIMUM of 10%and put it in a bank safe deposit box. Do it every week for 10-12 weeks WITHOUT FAIL!! Just like you are paying a bill.. At then end of your 13th week, when you go in to write that check, get all your checks and cash them. Then either put the cash back in the safe deposit box or go buy a vehicle with it. there is your budget! NO MORE!!

If I was to do it again, I would write them for $100 a week VERY FIRST THING... 12 weeks later I have $1200 to go buy a cheap car to putter around town in. Or got the auction that is 33 miles away on Friday night and get a steal of a deal on a couple cars. I have seen perfectly good running cars that were big and ugly go for $100.. Imagine the fleet you could have for Dad and Bro to steal then!!

welded up the battery box i built and welded it into the trunk of the car. it does not move now!!

talked to my exhaust guy and said to weld in 2 mufflers and dump it he wants $100, i thought in my head ***** that. told my boss and he said well try and do it after work soon.

if the car doesnt sell on ebay or craigslist i think im just goin to throw one of my truck manifolds on or get a ls1 manifold so i dont have to re-wire the injectors.

1470 page views and 27 watchers on my ebay listing. no offers yet. might drop the price again.

got some dumb offers on craigslist though.

Wow! I've missed a lot in three days. Cereal box and blower are all I could think of. I'd need to go back through the build thread, but those are the main things. Guess you can hit me back it the complete car doesn't sell. Good luck man.

Thanks man! I think this is an awesome project and definitely something that I've started an idea of in my head. This guys is already doing it. I would love to do a build like this on YouTube channel. I've got two 3.8 supercharges i've daydreamed about putting them both on a 5.3 side by side or some crap, but this idea is better.
