Default Mustang 5.3 question

I'm currently swapping a 5.3 into my mustang and I'm wondering what all can be removed from my firewall!? Anything need to be kept? Help? This is my first swap

Also will this diagram work with the 5.3 for the fuel system.

Remove all the wiring from the pass side. The wiring on the driver side powers up the car. Yes that fuel diagram will work. I had the same setup on my first ls swapped mustang

It really depends on what you want to keep such as A/C, heat, wipers, ect. The best thing to do is to remove what you THINK you MAY not need but save it in a good spot. Buy some clear plastic tubs with lids and keep organized. Save your original engine harness as you can use the factory firewall grommet for your LS engine harness. Get a plan together and start asking questions after that.
