Default CEL MIL from oil pressure or coolant temp?

I have an E38 ECM from an '07 Silverado LY6. I'd like to know if a low oil pressure or high coolant temperature will or can be programmed through HPT to trigger the check engine light / MIL.

The reason is I am ordering Speedhut CAN-bus gauges. They have 2-1/16 gauges that have integrated warning lights, but I would prefer to run larger 2-5/8" gauges in my console. Their 2-5/8" gauges are not available with warning lights. I would like some kind of idiot light to draw my attention. Ideally I would have one for each, but even if I just have the check engine that would probably be enough of a clue for me to look at the gauges.

Thanks for any help/ideas.

Second sender just for the light? I ran LS senders to the ECM and second VOD sender that runs the factory warning light along with a guage. Oil pressure one is out of site down by the oil filter but you can see the water temp in the right head.

I have thought about it, but I'm trying to avoid adding senders, partially why I favor the CAN gauges.

BTT

Pretty sure I can get a CEL from low oil pressure, but not sure if the set point is adjustable and still not sure if coolant high temp will/can trigger CEL.

Speedhut has a sale going right now, so I am ready to pull the trigger.

To answer your question directly, I have never seen any parameter to adjust the ranges for either coolant or oil press. in HP Tuners to trigger the CEL. Not even V2.24.

Thanks Tom. Do you know if either are factory-configured to trigger a CEL?
