I didn't like the way nx had the solenoids just hanging off the tubes going to the plate so I built a mount for the solenoids. as well as a super overkill full throttle switch bracket....with some dimple die holes to make it faster

maybe ill put a little time and effort into my throttle cable bracket too.....

ready to make a test hit to see what happens

I snagged up a 4.10 rear axle today and swapped in the mini-spool from my 3.08 rear.

Sunday I am hoping that this turd turns into something closer to a missile at the track.

Insurance is good to go now also, which means I am going to go get my exhaust put on it tomorrow, I hope!!

Got it to the track Friday night. The trans makes the 1-2 shift itself at 4500 rpm on motor. and it's definately running fat judging by the diesel like exhaust smoke. Went 6.98 first pass with a 1.5 60. And 6.68 @ 107 with 100 shot and a 1.8ish 60. Basically when I tried the nitrous it hit limiter instantly off the line.... When I got back in it the car hooked. Maybe I shouldn't have sprayed with it being so fat.... But the temptation was too great.

finally hit the 1/4 mile....60 was **** but leaving off idle gave the best results
finally got the ol junker to the track to run 1/4 mile the first time.....been running 1/8th. it wasn't hooking up well which can be seen in the 60....I was leaving off idle and getting the best results. It was in sealy last night and im guessing there is very little prep done for test and tune.

I originally had limiter set at 6800 and was on limiter for the last 150' or so in third gear.....which is all I got. bumped it up to 7200 and could make it all the way down the track. right at 7000 at the end. My goal is 9.99 and I was wondering if I had the gear to do it assuming my 60' improves on a better track or better day...maybe with a tail wind.....oh and some bigger pills. maybe hit it with 200 or so. will 131+ a few mph get in the 9.99 zone?

car is turbo 400, 410 gear, 295/55/15 tire....motor pulls to 7200 no problem...heck im not sure what its good for....has a good set of rods/crank and stuff. 4" crank in a 6.0 chevy. 100 shot as of now.
