I used a split one, makes it easy if you already have the wire ran and want to add it

i was actually meaning a cannon plug for electrical. its a tight fit, water tight, east connect/disconnect operation. would make for a really clean/easy wiring harness junction to mount flush on the firewall somewhere

i dont know if anything like this has ever been used in the "show car world or anything but i think it would be pretty slick if the connections stay good for along time

i have the motor torn down, and head studs and main studs installed, dropping it off to get bored .020 over and do a line bore and cleanup, then time to start assembling it again with compstar forged rods, weisco forged pistons for 10.6:1, turbo 1.5 cam, ls7 lifters, moly push rods, 799 heads, tooley dual springs w/ titanium retainers, melling oil pump,

cant wait to get the block back and get the rotating assembly balanced then start throwing it back together,

the updates will be slow due to having my first child born nov 30th!

what rack are you running? also i am going to run the cannon plug on my s10 they are very durable and water tight. We run them at work in our die casting machines so they are subjected to extreme heat and wet conditions non stop, along with vibration and the only problems we ever encounter with them is liquid getting in where they seal to the cable, but that is rare and easily remedied. Great looking build should be a beast when completed.
