Default Which pulse dampener to use?

I installed a '98 Corvette two line fuel rail assembly in place of the original single line fuel rail assembly of my '00 T/A LS1. This was done to use an external fuel pressure regulator and simplify the fuel pump/tank fabrication. The Corvette pulse dampener has a vacuum port while the T/A pulse dampener does not. Which dampener should I use? Does it matter whether there is vacuum applied to the Corvette unit? As a note, I'm not making any changes to the LS1 or the programming (Chevrolet LS1 Street Rod Calibration - 1st Version) as it is going into a 2900 lb Land Rover and should run strong (1hp per 9lb approx).

Use the dampner that it comes with. I have the same dual feed fuel rail and it really doens't seem to do anything whether the vacuum port is connected or not!
