I tested today with 55ohms on the sensor side and it hard pegged the gauge to the far right. Not what I was hoping for.
I dialed up 90ohms and it put the needle in the end of the hot zone, which seems about right.
I tested it that way thru a warmup cycle to the point where the fans came on at the 04 Vette BIN stock setting of 226 F.
190F put it a little above the left line.
212F put it at the second line
228F put it 1/3 thru the normal range
Looks like the stock 67-72 resistor will work fine.
Attached the factory F-body diagram, may be helpful.
