Default 04 GTO to mustang

Hello,

First off let me say I've been digging around for a good while before posting and I believe I've got most everything covered.

I recently wrecked my 04 gto and am looking to transplant it's guts into a 94-04 mustang.
For all intents and purposes let's assume a 01 GT. I'm just unclear how much the GTOs differ from Fbodies.

For the most part I think I've got the idea, and some of these questions may better suit a mustang board.

I know I can use the 4.6 k member but will be going tubular with conversion mounts through AJE anyways. As well as the tranny mount

I'll have the harness stripped and the PCM re flashed and cleared of VATS, etc. through speartech unless anyone has suggestions?

I'll use aftermarket gauges

I'm kind of unclear on the clutch setup. I know for foxbodies I could use turbo coupe pedals as they were hydraulic. Can I use the setup from the GTO? Any downside to mounting those pedals?

I think I'm at an advantage here as I have every piece from the donor car available.

Swap headers are damn expensive, any alternatives for use in a mustang with a tubular k? I've heard of lsx flanges on mustang LTs working but am unsure.

I know I can use Fbody radiator and fans, does the same apply to the GTO setup?

It appears the front sump on the GTO pan means I'll need a swap there as well. What works best?

Fuel system: C5 regulator, upgraded pump, return line to the tank. Simple enough

Any help is greatly appreciated. This swap seems extremely simple yet complex in some areas.

I just finished my second swap in a New Edge. This time an 02. I used Mustang shorties with LS flanges welded on, they work but are pretty tight. I used a Camaro pan on both swaps but I have heard the CTS-V pan works well too.

Great. Thinking that's the route I'll go for headers.
Thinking I'll go manual rack as well. Saving the power steering and AC for when I get hot and lazy down the road.

I've seen people using F body gauges with success, although the fitment isn't the greatest.

What'd you use for a radiator/Fan?

How about buy yourself a nice Kia? If a Gto is too much for you, and you're wrecking it, you probably shouldn't be transplanting it into a lighter car.

So you assume that I wrecked it because I couldn't handle 300hp?
Because when you drive on the road, there are no variables other than being unable to handle it.
Thanks for the advice but I'd rather hear from someone intelligent on the subject I asked about.

That's exactly what I think you did.
Tell me, how did you wreck it?

Haha, I see you drive an 04. Must be why you think they're an animal only a superior driver like yourself can handle. Pretty impressive that you're able to do that all the way up there on your high horse.

I won't feed into your trolling, so unless you have something intelligent to add (unlikely based on your posts) please move on.

I know, it's amazing that I have 530rwhp and still haven't wrecked. I don't know how I'm alive.
They're so mild, it's amazing you manage to wreck them.
Still haven't answered me, either. Did you lose control in the rain, like most people seem to?

Great, the roller I'm going to look at (95 GT) has a chevy radiator in it and AJE k and mounts so that might save me some trouble
