turbo 5.3 cutlass fuel line questions
Hi guys, first post here. Getting everything rounded up for my new build, am going with a 5.3 from an 01 chevy truck. Eventually it will get a turbo, but for now i just want to leave the 5.3 alone and address other areas on the car. I've already got a baffled tank from a regal, and am going to order this fuel pump/sender. (http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...XP340M&eq=&Tp=) My question is, what is going to be the best route for fuel lines? I need to know size, material, and anything else necessary to know. This is my first full build and am kinda new to stuff such as fuel lines, turbos, etc. any help would be great. Thanks!

There is alot of good information in the fueling and injection forum. I am putting a 6.0l in a nova and am setting the fuel system up for a future turbo as well. Going to use a Magnaflow 4305M regulator and a big 10 micron fuel filter after the regulator. I will be using 1/2" aluminum hardline for the majority of the runs and -8 Summit PTFE teflon lined stainless braided hose for a few spots. You want the teflon lined hose, the older rubber stuff does break down with todays fuel additives.
You can use -6 an/ 3/8" for everything, but -8 is only a few bucks more if you are running all new lines and your pump wont be working as hard. The filter and regulator I am talking about are below.
