Dang clutter, running out of room to work on my stuff. Guess you can call me a hoarder of sorts. Got 3 80e and 2 60e trans, tons of harnesses and PCM's. Amazing how a 3 car garage can turn into a pathway into the house.
I have another 6.0L coming next week.
Just need to finish another harness for my buddy to get the $.
How many engines can you spy?

You and I have a similar disease. Since learning about these engines I feel a little strange if I don't have a spare complete engine, transmission and a lot of spare parts in the shop at all times. What happened to me? Is there a cure? Do I WANT to be cured? Hahaha.
Great build by the way. As far as the motor mounts for the Jag, can you duplicate them and would you be interested in selling a set?

I can make as many mounts as you want.
Subtile is one of my high priorities with this car. More performance and slightly more agressive sound than a stock LSx exhaust. Plans are for 3.5 inch oval exhaust front to rear for added ground clearance and single exhaust with invisible down-turned pipe just before the factory dual exhaust tips. Stock look from rear but definitely not stock under car.

Really cool build. I always loved these big Jags!
Quick question. How do you get a 96+ car to pass inspection? Here in MA we have to plug in the obd2 reader from the inspection station so it can read what the car is and check for any codes. I can get around not having any emission equipment on the car, but I don't know what I would do when it gets plugged in and it says its some sort of Chevy.

I am adding the Gm obd2 connector under the dash for tuning and datalogging. The jag obd2 port will remain active to pull abs, air bag etc codes. I have no emissions testing but f all 1999-up emissions were present it would pass.not in my case as it will be turbocharged with no emissions devices retained.

A few updates for the week.
Received Cam, chrome moly pushrods, Pac 1218 valve springs, LS9 head gaskets. Removed heads and inspected cylinder walls. 29K mile motor looked pretty much new on the inside. Working on cleaning the block this weekend, then paint and final engine assembly.
Got a bit delayed by another guy building a jag needing a LSx swap harness. Stripped it down today and will post pics of it when it's done. It will be pretty compact as the PCM will be mounted right behind the intake manifold same as mine. He is running a 60L and 80e, same as mine.
